My personal values

1. Me First

In order to be the best version of myself, I need to take care of my needs, desires and protect my time and space before giving of myself to anyone else.

2. Systems + Maintenance

I believe the best method for achieving success is to set, adhere to and maintain systems in both my work and personal life. I will dedicate and prioritize the time needed to do so.

3. Discipline + Focus

I will not depend on my whim or mood to determine my actions, I will work according to my schedule as best as possible and stay focused on one thing at a time.

4. Hell Yeah or No

If I get an idea or someone asks me do something and it doesn’t fit in with my goals (hell yeah) then I will decline quickly and without hesitation. Close friends requesting favours that won’t actively derail my work or infringe on my boundaries are an exception to this rule. If it costs you your peace, it’s too expensive.

5. Meet Expectations

By declining projects that don’t suit me and focusing on systemization and discipline, I aim to meet the expectations that I set for myself and promise to others.

6. Essentialism

I will only focus on, pursue and acquire the few essential things that will bring me the most peace, joy or fulfillment. I will ignore everything else. I will not pursue less for the sake of less, but for the sake of gaining more value from the things I have.

7. Honesty + Openness

If the truth is mine to tell, I will tell it, even when it’s not asked of me. I ask the same of people in return.

8. To Each His Own

If someone’s actions doesn’t infringe on other people’s rights or cause harm, then they have the right to do it and it is not my place to judge or impose.

9. Introspection + Self Improvement

I continuously assess my beliefs, thoughts and actions to see if they align with the person I want to be. I actively pursue growth and learning things that contribute to this mission.

10. Always Stay Flexible

I do not commit to any long term projects that will require maintenance when I need to take time off. I aim to always be at least a week ahead of deadlines so I can take a few days of when needed.
